What we keep
If you don't sign in, everything you type stays in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us.
If you sign in with your VIT Google account, we keep your name, VIT email address and profile picture from Google, plus the marks, subjects and settings you enter, so they show up on your other devices.
If you request a subject, we keep the subject details and note you send.
To stop abuse we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for a short time. We can't turn it back into your IP.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone. Your marks are only visible to you. We only ask Google for your basic profile and email, nothing else from your account.
Where it's stored
The site runs on Vercel and saved data is stored with Upstash. Sign-in is handled by Google.
Deleting your data
Use "Delete all data" at the bottom of your profile page. That removes your marks from this device and from your account. Sign-in sessions end on their own after 30 days.
