Only semesters with confirmed subjects count. Their GPA comes straight from your marks and grade ranges.
When you pass a course you failed, the new grade replaces the F. If both attempts are in the calculator this happens on its own. If the F is inside a CGPA or GPA you typed in above, add the course's credits here so the old F stops counting. The new grade should be in a later semester.
CGPA = (credits × grade points for every course, across all semesters) ÷ (total credits). A semester with more credits counts more, so it isn't a plain average of your GPAs. An F gives 0 points but its credits still count, until you clear it.
Every semester's subjects, marks and grades are saved in this browser on this device, and in your account when you're signed in. Download a backup now and then. It's the way to move to a new phone or laptop, and it keeps your data safe if the browser is cleared. Using a shared or lab computer? Delete your data when you're done.
